The League’s Katie Aselton is staying in the FX family, but she won’t be worrying about winning The Shiva in her latest series.

EW can confirm that Aselton has been cast in Legion, an adaptation of the X-Men comics coming via Fargo’s Noah Hawley. Aselton will play Amy, the practical older sister to lead character David Haller (Dan Stevens), who does her best to remain positive, which proves difficult when her brother has spent years in and out of hospitals after being diagnosed as a schizophrenic.

Aselton joins a cast that includes Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Rachel Keller, and Jean Smart, who is re-teaming with Hawley, who is also writing the pilot, after starring in season 2 of his FX drama Fargo.

In the X-Men comics, Haller is actually the son of mutant stalwart Professor Charles Xavier, but don’t expect the show to tie into the ongoing movie franchise based on the comics. Legion will focus on Haller’s discovery that the voices and visions plaguing him for so much of his life may actually be real. Aselton is also set to appear in the second season of HBO’s Togetherness and in the upcoming season of Casual. She starred in all seven seasons of The League, which wrapped up in 2015. Legion begins filming this March.
